Chad Stewart
Stories about courage, darkness, resilience—and the people who find their way through them.
Meet Chad Stewart
STORYTELLER . FIREFIGHTER . PUBLIC SERVANT
Chad Stewart is the author of ten books spanning horror/thriller, YA action-adventure, inspirational nonfiction, and self-help. His supernatural horror novel The Pact was featured in The Hollywood Reporter in 2025 and has since been adapted by Stewart into both a feature screenplay and a six-part limited series, which he is currently pitching to film and television producers.
Beyond writing, Stewart has spent much of his life in service to others. A professional firefighter and paramedic, Stewart also serves as an elected City Councillor in the city of Airdrie, Alberta. His experiences in emergency services, community leadership, and public life have given him a unique window into people—their struggles, their resilience, their relationships, and the choices they make when the stakes are high.
Those experiences inform stories that explore human connection, trauma, courage, resilience, and hope under extraordinary circumstances.
